What’s better than blogging about anime, attending the nation’s largest anime convention and getting to hit the beach? How about blogging about the nation’s largest anime convention at the beach! The Anime Blog is covering Anime Expo 2007 from Long Beach, California and we’re so excited!
This will be a time of many firsts:
- Our first trip to AX and California.
- My first look at the Pacific Ocean and hopefully
- Our first trip to Little Tokyo (if we have time).
Let’s Meet Up!
We’d also like to have our first meet-up with fellow anime and manga bloggers at Anime Expo 2007! I know Julie of Manga Maniac Cafe was interested in meeting up at AX, and I’d like to extend the invite to other bloggers to take this rare opportunity to get together and meet each other face to face.
If anyone is interested, leave a comment below. We’ll figure out a place and time to officially meet-up the closer it gets to AX. If anyone has any suggestions as to a good meeting area, preferably something with seating, please, let us know!

I’m sorry I couldn’t make it! The concert went very late (it ended at 7:30), and when I went to Extreme Pizza afterwards, you were all gone. I really missed hanging out with you all. Will you be around anytime else during the con? I’ll be there all four days.

Hmm, well, no doubt the concert WILL run late (hell, we walked away from the S.K.I.N. concert because we were missing so much coverage). Hopefully, you guys can make it a little later!

Yeah, it just occurred to me that the SOS Brigade Invasion Tour thing is until 5:30 (probably even later, if it holds true to AX tradition for main events). I’m leading a group of folks from my anime club for that. I will try my best to make it directly to Extreme Pizza, though!

I’m hoping to meet up with everyone at this blogger gathering too! Unfortunately, I’ll be at the SOS Brigade Invasion Tour concert until 5:30 on Sat. But if you guys are still at the pizza place at 6 or later, then I might be able to make it. We’ll see.
I plan to link this post on my blog later so keep an eye out for it =)
