Finally - the Anime Central 2006 Photo Album is finished! We have over 80 Pictures of Ultimate Fun. We saw so many incredible costumes, they drowned out the half-assed and crappy cosplays nigh completely.
I was disappointed with a few good cosplays, mainly because the hot characters I adore were played by girls. I’d run over to Vampire Hunter D or Vincent from Final Fantasy VII and it was “oops - girls”. I asked someone why all the hot guys were all played by women, she replied “Guys can’t do the bishishounen look.” Yeah, that’s true, American men for the most part can only do bishishounen while they’re still fairly young. Then they get chest hair and muscles, and ew, they just can’t pull that look off any more without major work.
I’ve put up all the pictures of Masquerade winners that I have. They’re the boxes with a blue border around them.
