FUNimation has announced that will be releasing Kaze no Stigma on DVD next year:
FUNimation® Entertainment…has acquired rights to the 24-episode anime series Kaze no Stigma from GDH K.K. The Kaze no Stigma anime storyline is adapted from the novels by Takahiro Yamato. The anime was directed by Jun’ichi Sakata (Cardcaptor Sakura, DNA2 ) and produced by studio GONZO (Afro Samurai and Witchblade).
In the meantime, you can check out the Official Japanese Kaze no Stigma Website.
Any plans to release more Kaze no Stigma at some point? The “hero” in this story’s one of the better ones. Ever.
Admittedly, even though I loved Kaze no Stigma when I watched it subbed, I don’t see Funi making tons of money off of it, so it’s probably gonna be a low-key production, and not hit until the end of 2009.
Oh well, either way, I’ll still be one of the first to buy it.
Yesterday i watch Kaze no stigma, nice anime. Still watching this anime.. I like it!
