Just a small post to say that I’m still alive and haven’t forgotten about my blog; just been really busy unpacking and getting orientated with the city.
I saw the end of my first anime series in St. Louis yesterday, Last Exile, and I was kinda disappointed. David liked it, but he just isn’t as harsh of a critic as I am, being much more forgiving of a series’ flaws than myself. Far, far too many blatant rip offs, nods and influences from other popular movies/games (can you say pod racing and Chocobo racing anyone?) The ending was shallow and raised more questions than it answered…but I digress, I’ll review Last Exile another night.
In conclusion, I’m alive and well in St. Louis, I have a lovely view of the city (garden district I believe), and I’m content. I’ll be reviewing and writing in the near future.
