UPDATE - Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children Delayed - Again!

The head bitches at Sony have done it now. Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children will now be coming out on DVD towards the end of 2006. WTF!? 12 more months of waiting? Why?
I’m guessing us overeager fans are to blame. Some fans have gotten their greedy lil’ hands on Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children via the net and have been watching it that way. Apparently a fan in Sweden subbed Advent Children (and subbed it well I might add) and then dispersed it online - where it’s been downloaded relentlessly for the past 5 months. I don’t know anyone that hasn’t seen it, actually, except people who don’t like Final Fantasy VII (or who don’t get out much).
So now, Sony is adding “supplemental material” to the DVD to make it more sellable. I totally would’ve bought Advent Children ‘as is’ and so would most loyal fans. The upside to all this is that now I have new things to look forward to watching on the DVD.
Sadly though, two words that I’ve seen kicked around will keep me from watching the dubbed version on the release - “all-star castâ€. I’m scared to think who will play Cloud…Brad Pitt? Ben Affleck? How’s about Tifa? I don’t even wanna guess.
